Luis Echeverria is a Guatemalan photojournalist and videographer interested in current affairs, documentaries and the environment. During his career he has worked in different media outlets, international news agencies and as a photo editor. 

He has worked with Bloomberg, Reuters, National Public Radio (NPR), Al Jazeera, and on documentary projects for the World Food Program (WFP), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the International Organization for Labor (ILO), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
